Sorry for the long gap between this update and the last, but shit is stupid and it’s also dumb; Youreatool supermarket is officially the shittest thing. I’m hardly going to be able to update forever. BUT BOY AM I GOING TO TRY.

HEY DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THE SUPER SECRET THIRD CHARACTER IN TODAY’S STRIP? I CAN’T WAIT TO NEVER SEE THAT FUCKER AGAIN.

I don’t have any fun pictures to upload because nothing fun happened right up until when I drew that comic, from which I went straight on to updating upon completion.

That probably isn’t even a sentence but I’m pretty sure I don’t mind.

Hey I’m (probably) getting my new phone next Tuesday! But then again, how many times have I said I’m getting it here? Why should you believe me this time? Well, basically if Telstra (one of the main Australian service providers) aren’t total dicks I’ll be getting it Tuesday.

The perfect month is MINE! I did it and it is awesome and hooray and where’s my medal? TBA is level with Nameless now just because it keeps updating, which is also weird.

Oh man I would’ve had this update out way quicker, but I was reading this other webcomic. It was stupid, I would draw one stroke, read one update on the webcomic, and keep doing that. I was drawing at the pace of a snail.

Expect less frequent updates from now on, as mentioned in the previous newspost Youreatool Supermarket is intent on destroying TPTComics I’ll probably update tri-weekly when I feel good, maybe less when I have to do heaps of junk.

Is there still new viewers? I kind of tuned off on that whole business. It’s not my job to look at graphs and numbers, I’m just the guy what draws the comics.

Anyway, I’m going to grab myself the IRL victory sip.

Sorry guys but this was the most SCRAPED CAKE YET! (To new viewers: scraped cake means I was really pushing to get the update out).

And here it is: Youreatool Supermarket wants my blood! Well, actually, it just doesn’t want me to update TPT! Well double actually, it just wants to me to work there. But doing so results in me being unable to draw comics without going to bed super late! Which is laaaame because sleep is a good friend of mine!

Ah well, perfect month hopefully ends tomorrow (well actually I’m writing this as of tomorrow, and it already has ended, and it was awesome) so I can afford to miss update days and such.

This is the end of Paper! It is no more! Paper has officially been killedified! It may come back later, but it probably won’t; any jokes that would’ve went to Paper can just be chucked in TBA’s great dirty maw.

Speaking of TBA, it has 17 comics now. I’m pretty sure it’s just gonna be called TBA forever, despite anything I might’ve said in earlier newsposts. At least maybe in our minds it can stand for something really cool, like “The Big Aeroplane” or “Three Blue Apples”.

Actually those were both really lame, which is a sign that I should just go to sleep.

Wow this is certainly weird. I’ve somehow got involved in Takorii’s quest to update every day in the month of August. And I’m still deciding whether I like it or not. But either way, I’m sure I’ll get a sick percentage of the EXP’s gained by Takorii for helping out, and I may even get some GOLD and TREASURE.

This is probably the best comic I’ve ever drawn. See the extreme detail I put into the background, then I blurred it to make it all cool and perspective. Nah, I didn’t draw this. This was the same imagery used in  TBA #013 , published on the 21st of August. But this is definitely my favorite comic, just for the fact I didn’t have to draw anything and it took me like 10 minutes to think up the dialogue.

But yeah, expect a awesome comic tomorrow from Takizzle. I can only anticipate it’ll be awesome, since Yesterday’s was a copy-paste and today’s a rehash.

Advertising is going awesome! About 80% of the people currently reading this news post are brand new to TPTComics, and to them, I welcome you! Its good to have some fresh faces reading our content!

TPTComics has received 4500 pageviews in the last 3 days, or over the Australian weekend. Compared to the like 100-150 per day we got before, I’d say this is quite an improvement.

And on that note, any new viewers, please don’t be scared to comment below the comics or join the forum! We really are a nice bunch of people besides what some of us come across as or get portrayed as, and we really love discussion!

Takorii will kill me if I keep stealing his catch phrases and his end quote. But I’ll try and use it again.

Sorry about the TPTLazyComic, I’m kind of.. arted out. Saturdays can do that to me (I work at a graphics studio and you are never going to forget it). So yeah, copypasta is my friend.

I like these comics where I just change the dialogue heaps, it makes it look like there’s heaps of comic (another patented TPTLazyComic)

So the advertisements went pretty well! We got to 1300 pageviews, which is awesome, because that means that everyone was surfing through the archive (hopefully pleased with what they found!). With numbers like that, me and Pithdog plan to continue advertising, because WOW how cool are numbers!!!

As usual, this newpost is a disjointed mess because I wrote it all at different times, in a completely non-chronological order.

It actually is. In fact it’s so easy to misspell that I actually misspelt it writing this comic, which by that I mean I wrote it correctly! I wrote “separate” because I thought that was the wrong spelling, but when I was looking up that page that said it was the most misspelt Google kept telling me I was spelling it wrong.

Grraagh so confusing! “Separate” is the correct version btw. I have been using “seperate” all these years, gosh.

Next thing: I plan on breaking few fourth walls from time to time, so from now on I’m going to keep a track of them. The count is one, so far. That is um. It. Yeah it’s one, let’s go on to the next thing.

Well, I used up all of my talk-junk in the last newspost, which I also wrote today, so I’m going to cut this short. Or medium, I can’t really tell.

Hahah so it’s official, I have two jobs and both of them are with Pithdog :O. “Youreatool” Supermarket has actually been in a comic once before! And it’ll probably be in future ones too, depending on whether working there is really as fun as Pithdog says it is! He got a few blogposts out of it, so surely I can squeeze some comics out of it.

So I’ve started working at 4x the displayed dimensions. What this means is that whatever resolution you see the comic at (in this case 740×350) I drew at 4x that (2960×1400)! I make comics at a huge res because a.) it’s easier to colour, and b.) it gives me cleaner/crisper lines! I’m not really willing to go below a certain brush size, and I felt the lines were TOO THICK at 2x resolution. More importantly what this means, is that I can get snapshots like this:

So that’s pretty cool! If you ever see an element in a TBA comic from now on, and want to use it as an avatar, just give a shout and I can send you a hugeres pic like that!

That’s pretty much all, which is sad because that means there won’t be anything left for the next newspost (as I am writing them both today (which is tomorrow))
